Farmers used natural pest controls for centuries; however, in recent decades these eco-friendly options were lost in the push for the “more effective” use of chemicals and the natural way of doing things was lost.
Farmers need to know what their legal organic status will be after the application of a non-organic pesticide.
A formulation as defined in claim 1 wherein the organic solvent is an ester of a fatty acid. A formulation as defined in claim 1 wherein the compatibilizing agent for the water-insoluble organic pesticide is a plasticizers/oligomer material.
Organic pesticide is a solid, to form a dilutable substantially non-aqueous formulation that can be easily diluted with water. A stable aqueous emulsion results that is non-settling and is freeze-thaw stable, i. , capable of reconstitution after freeze-thaw cycling. In addition, small oil-in-water emulsion particles, measuring less than 5000 ã… and preferably less than 1500 ã… in size, are formed by simple low shear mixing upon dilution.
